ACG install in historic home gets national attention

We’re excited that our installation of geothermal in a beautiful 1867 country home in the Kiel, Wis., area is now a featured project on the national WaterFurnace website. You can now see it as well on our Featured Installations page.

The 3,500-square-foot home uses the new 7 Series WaterFurnace. It provides the design flexibility that was needed to meet the homeowners’ requirements of five zones. There had not been any geothermal unit capable of that until the 7 Series, which allows up to six zones.

The variable capacity feature on the unit allows it to scale output to exactly the level needed rather than the “high” or “low” speeds found in normal systems. The unit can ramp down to 20% of normal operation for ultra-efficient conditioning or up to 130% output using SuperBoost™, for periods when extra cooling is needed.
